DT Engineering were announced as the winners of the Mersey Maritime Engineering Company of the year at the annual awards ceremony held in March at Liverpool FC’s new main stand.
The company beat off competition from ITCL and Heap & Partners, who are both well-established engineering businesses in the sector and wider region.
The award recognised the achievements of the business over the past year looking at growth, profitability and outstanding achievement in their specialist field. The business has enjoyed success in numerous projects over the year and the inclusion of the recent custom build Goliath crane and huge developments in crane access systems helped the business to victory in the category.
“We are overwhelmed and humbled to win the award in the prestigious MMIA event. This is massive for our business and the exposure within the sector that this offers up forms part of a wider strategy for the year ahead. The award has been well deserved recognition for all of the efforts throughout the business, showing what an unbelievable team we have at DTE. The engineers out on site right through to the admin team all deserve an honour due to their dedication and commitment to our relatively young and hardworking business. We have plans to capitalise on the success and reach out to businesses within the sector who may not be aware of our presence and are looking forward to another year where we can achieve more for the company” said Tom Coyle Managing Director.
